Hello!  Welcome to Pamplemousse, the boutique for women, located in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. Pamplemousse is a French (and also German, apparently) word for grapefruit...chosen for both its fun sense of whimsy and the all the freshness that French pink citrus implies. Pamplemousse began its fashion endeavor in March of 2008 on Mission Street, between 5th and 6th avenues and is now in it's 3rd incarnation (by way of San Carlos Street) on Ocean avenue in the heart of Carmel.


Currently staffed by owner Lauren Merrill, alongside Amanda, Jill and Lehena, Pamplemousse offers a truly personal approach to shopping women's apparel and accessories.
